Welcome to my musical journey! From a young age, my passion for music blossomed amid a vibrant family environment filled with diverse sounds. Influenced by gospel, jazz, soul, pop, country, and more, I’ve crafted an artistic style that reflects the rich tapestry of my upbringing.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, I embarked on my artistic journey at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts (DASOTA) in their vocal music program, despite my inability to read sheet music.  With the support and recommendation of Toni Preston, a theatre arts teacher at Stanton College Prep, I was able to bypass the competitive audition process and attend DASOTA. This transformative experience not only helped me discover my voice but also solidified my commitment to pursuing music full-time.

John Jackson, an exceptional vocal music teacher at DASOTA, recognized my untapped potential.  He surrounded me with talents like Sam Shingles, James Campbell, and Carlos Boglin, who all played significant roles in my early artistic development.  Their support and encouragement helped me grow in ways I never knew possible.

My first music collaboration was with Lance Haugan, a skilled guitarist at DASOTA. He was in the process of composing a song titled "Secret Dreams" but encountered writer's block after writing the first verse. He reached out to me asking for my assistance, and I was more than willing to help.  We shared dinner at his parents' home, then proceeded to the garage to work on the song.  I wrote the second verse which completed the song.

While attending DASOTA, I was introduced to Bernard Bolton, a talented musician and producer in the city. This introduction turned out to be a pivotal moment in my life, as Bernard became a lifelong friend and mentor in music production.  I genuinely believe that without his mentorship, I wouldn’t be able to record and produce music today.

After graduating from DASOTA, I formed the gospel trio "Terrill & Company" with my siblings Eugene and Dwayne Jenkins.  We performed on television, toured regionally and enjoyed steady radio rotations with our song "To Be Used By You, Lord".  Years later, the trio disbanded, and I decided to carry on eventually moving to Austin, TX.

Moving to Austin was like a dream come true.  I had never lived in a city that appreciates original music more than Austin.  The opportunity to perform and get paid for my originals affirmed my decision and allowed me to grow and flourish as an artist for 8 1/2 years.

Towards the end of my time in Austin, covid struck and shook the world and turned my plans upside down. With studios and venues being closed, I was forced to invest in myself and build my own studio.  It was one of the best and most challenging decisions I've ever made.  This pivotal moment not only transformed my plans but also marked the moment I truly became an independent artist.

I now call Nashville, TN home.  I spend a lot of time pitching songs to music supervisors for licensing deals, while creating performance opportunities for myself.  On January 1, 2025, I released my first Nashville single "Facade", off the upcoming seven song EP entitled "Life On Planet Earth", which is scheduled for a Summer '25 release.

I truly appreciate your visit.  Be sure to tell a friend.  Don't let the negative opinions of others keep you from living your best life.

Love and Peace...
